The 3 C’s of Communicating Online

Have you ever written a social media post or a blog that you thought would *kill* with responses?

But instead it got crickets – nothing, zilch, nada!

I know I have.

As have most online entrepreneurs…especially the ones who fail.

Without interest in your free content,

You are not going to have interest in your paid offers…

And without that, you’re not going to make sales – translation…

No sales, no business.

So how do you prevent that from happening?

The answer lies in knowing how to speak to your audience.

There are so many different ways to approach this.

With lots of sophisticated terms like branding, message architecture, conversion copywriting, etc.,

And while those concepts are important, what it really boils down to is…

The 3 C’s of Communicating Online !

Be Clear:

It is so important to know what value your business provides.

If you haven’t figured that out yet, STOP!

How YOU Can Add Value to Your Affiliate Offer or Opportunity

Now that you know that,

Make it clear to your customers at every step of their customer journey…

  • When they first come across your business,
  • When they take advantage of your free material,
  • When they become a customer,
  • And ultimately when they become an advocate for your business.

Be Concise:

After you write any piece of content whether on Facebook or in a blog,

Go back and delete as many words as you can. Then, go back and do it again.

Nowadays, we’re all flooded with information,

And we all have short attention spans, so most of the time, longer does not equal better.

Be Compelling:

If you’re already clear on what value you provide,

And you’ve been communicating clearly and concisely,

Then this last piece is most likely where you’re stumbling.

Here’s the thing…

In the corporate world, our colleagues have to read our emails. It’s their job, literally.

But online, no one has to pay you any attention unless they want to.

So you have to earn their interest.

When in doubt, test on yourself. For example…

Would you rather read a 5-page essay that’s filled with fact after fact,

Or a 5-paragraph post that tells you a fun story, makes you laugh, and leaves you with one piece of actionable advice?

Read the sentence above again,

Because I just gave you a formula for how to write in a way that’s clear, concise, and compelling.

And if you want more…

Because let’s be honest — this information is good, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg…

There are two ways you can get it:

Way #1, which covers an additional 10% of the iceberg:
